Evie Chen

Evie Chen is a junior at WashU from Beijing, China. She is double majoring in Psychology and Global Studies. She joined the lab because of her interest in collective memory and the ways in which it constitutes group and personal identity. She wants to learn more about how different sub-national groups construct their nation’s origin story differently and how memory for the collective past may be altered or distorted. Outside of the lab, one of her favorite pastimes is learning how to do various kinds of handicrafts.
