CONGRATULATIONS

Emily Cohen-Shikora is one of 16 graduate students chosen to win the Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence for 2011-2012.

This award recognizes superb performance by a graduate teaching assistant in the instruction of Arts & Sciences undergraduates.  Each Graduate Arts & Sciences department is invited to nominate its best teaching assistant for the award.  From these nominations, 16 graduate TAs have been selected for recognition this year.

The award includes a prize of $1,500 accompanied by a certificate.  The Graduate School has also requested that Emily serve in an advisory capacity so they may draw upon her teaching expertise as they further the development of teaching assistant training.

Congratulations to Emily on such a great accomplishment!
